We are wrapping up our unit on Earth, the Universe and Space Explroration this week. The "Earth in the Universe" project is due Tuesday, Feb. 19th. This is the major test grade for this unit. We will begin our unit on plate tectonics next week. This unit involves the study of Earth's layers, plate movement, volcanoes and earthquakes. We will start the unit with a "walk" through Earth's layers. Other activities in this unit include an "oobleck" lab, making a foldable of Earth's layers, completeing a Pangea puzzle and researching major earthquakes and volcanoes.
